Pakistan Win World Cup 2015 If Win Against Australia Said Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's former legendary all-rounder Imran Khan said 'nobody can cease Pakistan from winning the World Cup' in the event that they manage to qualify & beat Australia in the quarter-finals.
Imran said if there was venue where the Greenshirts could beat Australia, it was Adelaide. Adelaide is a slow pitch & Pakistan's best chance of beating Australia is in Adelaide, they said, while speaking to a private news channel.
"If there is a wicket in Australia that helps spinners, it is Adelaide," they added.
Advising Misbah-ul-Haq to drop a rapid bowler & give a chance to Yasir Shah, Imran said: "Previously Yasir was playing against India who are excellent spin players Yasir ought to be playing against Ireland.
Pakistan will play against Ireland in their last group match on March 15 (Sunday) at the Adelaide Oval.
The former World Cup winning captain said they was aware that Australians are specialists at playing pace bowlers, adding that had they been in Misbah's place, they would have played a spinner.
Imran rated seven-footer Mohammad Irfan as the 'most dangerous' bowler of the match. Play Irfan to take wickets & not to save runs, they said, recalling that Wasim Akram used to give additional runs by bowling no-balls & wides but regularly provided breakthroughs.
"I was the first to play a leg-spinner Abdul Qadir ' in World Cup," they said.
They did not hesitate to appreciate the courageous batting-style of wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed. Sarfraz ought to have played in earlier matches as well They is a specialist wicketkeeper & a courageous batsman ," they said.
Analysing Pakistan's earlier defeats in the match, Imran said Misbah's team put up a weak performance against the West Indies, adding that it was a defensive team choice.
A defensive mindset looks to win games by saving runs, while an attacking mindset looks to win games by taking wickets, they said. "Misbah now understands what they needs to do " which is to have his best batsmen upfront.

Unfortunately Pakistan lost against Australia despite splendid bowling by Wahab Riaz who produced some magic deliveries. And with this Pakistan journey in World Cup 2015 also ended.
